You can use the vegetable mix as an ingredient in soups, meatloaf or casseroles and it makes a great side dish all by itself. You can even try mixing it into a trail mix for backpacking trips as a healthy snack. They are so versatile we recommend experimenting with ways to use them in your everyday cooking.
When rehydrated, the vegetable mix absorbs the liquid and becomes just like the fresh vegetables they once were. The taste is great, and the nutritional value is preserved from their original state. Shelf-Life: Stores for 5 to 10 years in a sealed #10 can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place).
Instructions: Add 3 parts water to 1 part vegetable mix. Allow Freeze Dried Vegetable Mix to hydrate for about 20 minutes or until fully rehydrated.
Uses: Freeze Dried Vegetable Mix can be used separately or in combination with casseroles, stews, stir fry, soups and more.
