Honeyville's Bakers Soy Flour is a great way to cook with limited carbohydrate intake. Our soy flour is tested and certified to be gluten free. It's the perfect alternative to wheat flour. With 47 grams of protein and only 38 grams of carbohydrates (18.55 grams from dietary and soluble fiber) in a 100 gram serving, this flour gives you the best of both worlds. With a fraction of the carbs of wheat flour, soy flour provides a hearty flavor and consistency without adding all of those empty calories. Chock full of protein and dietary fiber, it works well in a wide array of recipes.
The Food and Drug Administration announced this year that soy can reduce the risk of heart disease when included in a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, due to research at the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences at Urbana-Champaign. As little as 20 grams of soy a day will lower cholesterol levels, according to the FDA. Soy is in foods that range from muffins to ice cream to honey-roasted nuts to soy-injected hams and roasts. Honeyville Bakers Soy Flour is an ideal product for your baking needs.

Use this to make soy beverage. In a tall pot, heat 280 ml of soy powder with 4 cups of filtered water for 10 minutes on a medium flame, stirring constantly to dissolve all the powder. The mixture will foam slightly. Do not overheat. Then continue stirring for another 10 minutes with the flame turned off. Dispense the soy beverage into a 8 cup glass container. Add 2 Tablespoons of sweetener and stir while hot. Finally, add 3 cups of filtered water to thin. Refrigerate before serving. Has about 10 g of protein per cup.Review by Jeremy Weiss (Posted on 8/28/2018)
I purchased this awhile back. It's good soy flour. the problem though is that most of it spoiled before I could use it. Storage wasn't the issue. There was just so much of it and it was for home use. I preferred this band. It though isn't a value when so much of it has to be discarded. I'd like to be able to purchase this in a lesser amount.Review by T L (Posted on 3/20/2017)
