Honeyville Freeze Dried Blackberries are produced in a process where moisture is removed from the product using a very low temperature and a vacuum. Only about 3 percent moisture remains in the product at the time of packaging. The end product weight is reduced by over 90 percent, while the volume stays the same. This remarkable process concentrates the fresh taste, natural color, and texture of blackberries.
When rehydrated, the product will absorb the liquid and resemble fresh blackberries once again. The taste is great, and the nutritional value is preserved. Freeze drying provides natural and additive free fruits to be stored effectively for long periods of time. Honeyville Freeze Dried Blackberries are an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.

Well I didn't think it could equal the quality of the Raspberries but really these are great!Review by Barry Simms (Posted on 3/24/14)
These were giant and super sweet though they were a little seedy. Mostly I used them in cold cereal and for just plain old snacking. Other than being a little too seedy the only other problem I found was that even with the moisture packs kept inside they got soggy within a few weeks of opening the can. So I used the last 1/3 or so of the can to make a blackberry cobbler which was possibly the best I've ever had! It tasted just like one from fresh-picked berries.Review by Glenda (Posted on 3/24/14)
