Natural Almond Flour 5#

I have only used about half the 5# bag I bought one year ago because at the time I received my order I hadn't found many recipes for almond-flour products. Now I've found several recipes for crackers which are not only delicious but very useful in our diet. I've missed having flat bread to spread or layer meat or cheese on or to eat with salad. I won't be without almond flour from now on. Want to maintain not only my weight loss but my better health (avoiding gluten).

Love this Almond Flour!

I started using Honeyville's Natural Almond flour when our pediatritian told us to cut sugar and refined carbs from our son's diet (due to suspected insulin resistance). Our whole family loves the pancakes muffins and quick breads that I bake using this almond flour. I feel that it is so much more nutritious than using wheat flour for our baking as well and my kids can still enjoy delicious fresh baked muffins and pancakes for breakfast!

Excellent Alternative to Flour plus Almond Meal Pancake/Waffle Recipe

This is another of my favorite Honeyville Grain products-we use it successfully as a substitute for white flour in many recipes. For each cup of white flour we'll use 1/2 cup of almond flour (we call it almond meal) and 1/2 cup whole wheat flour (and sometimes we'll sub in some corn flour as well. Also use it as a breading for fish or chicken too. Great nutty flavor.

Delicious fresh and versatile almond flour

My son is on the Specific Carbohydrate Diet so no gluten is allowed. We make a wide variety of dishes from almond flour the natural and the blanched almond flour (cookies muffins pancakes stuffing etc.). I think the natural has a slightly nuttier taste and the blanched is lighter. I prefer the natural in cookies but savory dishes like stuffing seem to taste better with the blanched flour (to me). You do get some different textures because although it is called FLOUR it does not absorb liquid like grain flour does. Using some online recipes then experimenting some I can now make many high-protein healthy yummy foods with little trouble adapting a recipe. After buying different brands Honeyville Grain is our favorite! The price is the best too. We store ours in the refrigerator and have enjoyed every bit of it whether we buy it in 5 lb or in 25 lb amounts. I recommend Honeyville to all my friends for a quality product at a great price and with excellent customer service.

We love it

I and my family had to learn to eat gluten-free a few years ago and I hated messing with so many flours starches and gums and all that. Then my husband's doctor recommended a low-carb diet for his heart health a few months ago. I started doing some research so I could understand better where the doctor was coming from and realized all those starches I was using in gluten-free baking were not good for us at all. So we all went low-carb and this flour has changed our lives. It is so much better tasting than any wheat based or gluten-free flour I've used and way healthier!! We can still have bread and muffins on the low-carb diet my husband lost 20 lbs as a bonus and improved his cholesterol dramatically by cutting out starches and sugar. I highly recommend this flour Honeyville has the best product and price I've found. Not to mention it's certified gluten free! No more messing with a million flours and starches for me.

I like this style better than blanched

This style makes a much more robust bread, like a whole wheat. I add flax meal to it-topped with butter and honey, yummmmm!

I Love this Almond Flour

I bake breads, cookies, and cakes with almond flour. This almond flour is natural so it has healthy nutrients. The texture makes moist cakes and the price is better than I have found anywhere.
