Honeyville's Powdered Whole Eggs are made from fresh eggs in the U.S. for optimal quality and safety. Dried eggs do not require any refrigeration, so you can have eggs on your next camping or backpacking trip to make early morning scrambled eggs or omelets on the go. They also work great for baking, especially if you love to eat raw dough. Dried eggs take out the fear of bacteria since it gets killed in the drying process, so you and the kids can enjoy all that delicious cookie dough when using powdered whole eggs.

Whole egg powder, when blended with water, reconstitutes into freshly whipped eggs. Use them for any recipe or dish as a direct substitute for fresh eggs. With a longer shelf life and a lower price per egg than store bought eggs, Honeyville's powdered eggs are the best for long term storage, emergency preparedness, and everyday cooking for you and your family.

Shelf-Life: Stores for up to 3 years in a sealed #10 can (oxygen absorber included) under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place).

Instructions:  To reconstitute one egg, mix 2 tablespoons of Powdered Whole Eggs with 4 tablespoons of water. When using with other dry ingredients, it is not necessary to reconstitute egg. Simply add to dry ingredients and increase water measurements in mixture to necessary amount. One #10 can of powdered eggs is equivalent to about 80 large fresh carton eggs.

Uses: Use for anything that calls for eggs in the recipe, including baked goods, omelets, scrambled eggs and more.

Best Powdered Eggs

I bought 2 cans of the eggs - one to use now and one for food storage. My husband was initially skeptical but he loves them now. We're not big egg eaters and just use them for baking and in recipes. The pies cookies and pancakes have turned out great. I also like not having to worry about running out of eggs. I have already recommended this product to several friends. It's a food storage must have esp when you think of all of the things already in your food storage that need eggs (pancake mix cake mixes cookies).

Great alternative to fresh!

This is a great product!! It acts even more like fresh eggs if you mix and refridgerate overnight. If used this way it will be more like fresh beaten eggs. I have used this extensively for "cookie in a jar gifts" and after layering use a home sealer on the jars and give as gifts. It is a great product!

VERY impressed!

Living in hurricane alley it's not unusual for us to lose power in the summer time... even if the storm isn't right near us. I bought a can of these eggs to have on hand and was HIGHLY skeptical on how "good" they would be. Let me just tell you I was HIGHLY impressed. I reconstituted "a couple of eggs" and decided to scramble them to see how it really tasted. I decided not to even add milk; on a little salt and pepper. They were amazing. Something I will have on hand forever now! If they were that good ALONE I know they'll be awesome in cooking dishes.

Awesome product!

The quality price and fast shipping make this an ideal product for omelets and cooking cakes and cookies. I made scrambled eggs yesterday for one of my most finicky eaters and didn't tell her they were powdered eggs until after she ate them all. Will be buying a couple more cases soon. thx!

Not good

Maybe my "eggspectations" were too high, but I found these were not edible. Wish I could give these to one of the reviewers who likes them because they are going in the trash. I've looked at them taking up real estate in my pantry long enough.

Perfect for baking

We use these mostly for baking. They give the same result as fresh eggs.
To use these as scrambled eggs, I would recommend using part fresh and part powdered. This is very helpful when your family wants eggs, but you don't have enough fresh ones to feed everyone.
You could use the powder alone for scrambles, but there is a noticeable difference in taste and texture. It isnt bad, just different.

tasty and convenient

Have been using them for baking for years. Better than fresh because measurements are always consistent. Perfect products are guaranteed every time. Mix powdered eggs with powdered milk, salt, pepper and dried onion flakes and scrambled eggs are delicious. I highly recommend them for immediate use and long-term storage
