Powdered Peanut Butter

I agree with the other reviews. I was ready to buy this product but will not buy now because corn syrup and sugar are very bad for our health. Most of the corn in this country is GMO as well. Add stevia for the sweetener and it will be more healthy

The taste is very good

I used 1/2 cup+1 tablespoon to 1/4 cup water. It was a bit thin. For me it needs some tweaking. But the taste is actually quite good. I'm thinking 1 to 1 equivalents.

Really looking forward to making treats with this PB. And learning to make smoothies with it. I can have peanut butter in my food storage!

This is so awesome that I can have foods that my fussy tastes can EASILY manage. In case of emergency I still have good foods available. Awesomeness!

what a surprise

I wasn't sure about powdered peanut butter but in my house the normal jar never lasts long. The fact that the sodium was less than half of the commercial canned version did it for me. Bought a can. Wow. Great flavor. Easy mixing. Bakes well. Now I can mix up exactly what I need. No more goopy jars left out on the counter by the kids!

Honeyville Powder Peanut Butter

I have not purchased this item yet, but intend to even with the corn syrup. I purchased the PB2, but it has a VERY short shelf life. If you use it everyday you are good to go, but if you are wanting something to store it is not a good item

NO to sugar and corn syrup

I too was set to buy but sugar and corn syrup are not healthy for anyone. If you can replace this with coconut sugar Stevia or a whole/natural alternative I will buy tons of this. Also over 50% of the calories come from fat. There are other peanut butter powders that have only 45 calories per 2 tablespoons and far less fat and carbs. I hate to spend more for another product but I will because my commitment to good health is important to me. As a doctor I encourage everyone to eliminate sugar and corn syrup from their diets. Please make the change and be healthier for your customers. There are other powdered peanut butter products that are healthier lower in fat and lower in calories/sugar. Thanks.

Good in Oatmeal

I put a scoop of this in my oatmeal shortly before it's done and stir it in. Adds a little peanuty flavor to the otherwise bland oats.

Great For Cooking

I love peanut butter but not the calories. So I was thrilled to discover powdered peanut butter. This stuff is fantastic for peanut butter pie Thai sauces smoothies peanut butter cookies and more while saving calories. I'll eat it in a PB&J but it's not exactly the same as regular peanut butter. However for cooking this stuff can't be beat.

Too Bad

I was all set to buy this and noticed "corn syrup solids" and sugar in the ingredients two items not in my dietary budget. Thought this would be great to take on camping and extended trips. Oh well the real stuff only has nuts will have to do.

Low Carb

I live low carb and this stuff is an AWESOME find! It can be made as thick/thin as you want and is less expensive than another brand I purchased before. The large container that I thought would last forver is nearly gone.
