Honeyville's Dehydrated Carrots are produced in a process where moisture is removed in a special drying process called puff drying. The carrots are dehydrated to approximately 7% moisture. This process permits the carrots to maintain their orange color and typical fresh carrot taste when re-hydrated in water. The vitamin and nutrient qualities of fresh carrots are preserved so the taste is great, and the nutritional food value is preserved. When re-hydrated, it will maintain the texture and shape of fresh carrots with no shrinking or shriveling. Honeyville Dehydrated Carrots are an ideal product for long term food storage and emergency preparedness.

Sweet true carrot flavor. Not a single bitter bite. Cooks well, color is great. Awesome product!Review by drodger (Posted on 2/18/14)
Although fresh carrots are plentiful here, I like the option to add this to soup. I can put a cup of everything in a pot add water and have soup with out too much work on my part. I use a flavor base and everyone loves my soup. I have not made a side dish of carrots from this but when I bought this I had soup as the intent.Review by Nora (Posted on 1/23/14)
