Shelf-Life: Cracked Wheat in a 2 pound bag will store for 1 year in a sealed in a 2 pound bag under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place). In a 50 pound bag it will store for 1 year in a sealed 50 pound bag under ideal storage conditions (cool, dry place).
Instructions: For hot cereal, add 1 part cracked red wheat to 4 parts boiling water. Add a pinch of salt for flavor. Cover pan and simmer 25 to 30 minutes, stirring gently and serve.
Uses: Cracked Wheat is used to make wholesome oatmeal thats rich in flavor and nutrients. It may also be used as a healthy replacement for multi-grain breads and rolls that call for cracked wheat.
