The 25 pound box of Almond Flour is offered in industry-standard, commercial packaging. You can expect your 25# box to contain a blue, food grade, semi-permeable bag that is not sealed and allows the almond flour to breathe. Excellent Quality

This is an excellent product all around. It is a very fine texture that mimics regular flour very well and it can be used in many recipes. I quickly used up my 5 lb bag and am ready to order more!

Excellent grain-free "flour" for Celiac/Specific Carbohydrate Diet

This is the best priced blanched almond "flour" (meal) available that I can find and its quality is as good as any other at least! For those with Crohn's disease ulcerative colitis celiac disease diverticulitis cystic fibrosis and chronic diarrhea any type of grain (including gluten-free grains such as rice) can cause problems and further compromise the quality of life. I used Honeyville blanched almond flour (blanched being preferred for the above conditions) in a Specific Carbohydrate Diet recipe for cookies and they were superb. I also am finding that I can do hot "cereal" again in the morning. As I experiment with what the blanched almond meal can do I am delighted at its effect on my entire system. Delicious excellent quality and highly recommended!

Marvelous marzipan!

I used this flour to make the most beautiful (and easy) marzipan. Weeks after the event where it was served I am still getting compliments! The Bob's Red Mill almond flour looked greasy but this almond flour was fine and not greasy at all. I would totally buy it again next time I need some!

LOVE this stuff! I got the 25 lb box and vacuum packed it down into 'quart sized' bags and placed them in the freezer. I have a quart jar I keep in the refrigerator that I use for my everyday baking. It's so easy to refill my jar from a fresh frozen packet now! My kids at an entire batch of my Gluten Free Banana/Blueberry muffins made with just almond flour!!! All 18 of them! I guess we all love this flour! Made excellent GF pancakes with it too. I also add a few tablespoons to my smoothies to give them a great taste and texture!

Good job

I have tried Bob's Red Mill and have been disappointed with the textural results. Found this recommended on Elana's Pantry website and what a difference! I'm a little amused by the reviewer who gave them 2 stars for not being organic -- THEY NEVER CLAIM TO BE ORGANIC! You can't trash them for not being your preference! Rate them on what they claim to be. And for the one who complains that there aren't any skins in the blanched flour -- that's why it's called Blanched in the first place. The skins for the most part have been taken off. They offer a natural almond flour with the skins still on. Again if you're going to rate a product have the character to rate it according to its claims not what you WISHED it was. Either this almond flour is finely ground or it isn't. Either it works well in baking and thickening or it doesn't. If you're looking for organic go find an organic one to try and then rate it for what it is. And no I don't work for Honeyville -- though I wish I did if it came with an employee discount. :-D I've searched the other sites Elana's Pantry suggests and find this one to be the most economical. Of course I wish it was cheaper but they have to make some money too. I personally find this flour to be finely ground and to work well in the recipes in which I have used it. For the diabetics who use this flour consider combining it with Big Tree Farms organic coconut palm sugar instead of agave for a lower glycemic index load. (And no I don't work for THEM either!) I do work for my sister's bakery and develop new special dietary needs products for her and so I set the bar pretty high when it comes to my expectations of a product reaching it's claims. In my opinion this one definitely meets its claims. I am thinking about trying the bulk 25-pound bag but am hesitating due to the specific reviews of it.

Fantastic

We make everything (biscuits cakes breads pie crust) & get great texture & flavor. As a diabetic I love being able to enjoy more nutrition and better flavor from a healthier flour product. The cost is 40-50% of the almond meal available locally. The results is 10x better.

Sadly not organic

I would love to use this product but believe it is important for my family as well as the earth and the farmers who farm it to only use organic products. So sad this is not available organically. IF you make an organic version I'll buy it! My friend uses this flour and loves it. I'd like a version I could use too.

Great for Marzipan
